10 Vacation Outfit Ideas For Men

Look 1(Summer 2025 Trend): All-Green Outfit

Men's vacation outfit with an olive green short-sleeve shirt, matching linen pants, and green slide sandals.

Green is trending this summer 2025. To be honest this shade of olive green is a neutral color that has been and will continue to be around in menswear for decades. The military made the color mainstream and that was a long time ago.

Personally, I like the color a lot and this year at Pitti Uomo(the biggest men’s fashion fair in the world) my favorite men’s fashion influecner pulled off an all green suit in this color. It’s simply magic: Magno Scavo All Green Outfit.

Look 2: Honduran Resort Outfit

Men's summer vacation outfit with a white short-sleeve knit shirt, light blue linen shorts, and beige sandals.

The outfit reminded me of the colors of the Honduran flag. It’s a simple outfit with two great colors perfect for the summer. The overall texture of the shirt elevates the outfit.

Look 3: Relaxed Day Outfit

Men's beach outfit featuring a green and white striped long-sleeve shirt, white linen pants, and beige Birkenstock-style sandals.

Both the shirt and the pants feature a relaxed fit for that second or third day of your vacation that doesn’t require a lot of travel and you are dedicating them to spend your day along the beach eating seafood.

Look 4: Greece Outfit

Men's summer resort outfit with a blue and cream open knit shirt, white linen drawstring pants, and black slide sandals.

This is a great outfit for rolling around Santorini this summer. It features a resort shirt and white linen relaxed pants with a pair of black Birkenstocks for extra comfort. The overall color combination is clean and elevated.

Look 5: Military Green Outfit

Men's vacation outfit with an olive green short-sleeve button-down shirt, white linen pants, and green double-strap sandals.

With green being so trendy this year I thought I could include the camp collar shirt again, but this time pair it with the relaxed white linen pants.

Look 6: Taupe and Green

Men's summer outfit with a beige short-sleeve knit polo, olive green pants, and tan suede sandals.

This outfit is the reason stylists use moodboards before putting outfits together, once in a while you build awesome outfits you wouldn’t be able to think about otherwise.

Look 7: Lazy Resort Outfit

Men's vacation outfit featuring a light blue linen button-down shirt, white linen pants, and black rubber slides.

A light blue linen shirt and white linen pants are two of the most well known pieces in summer menswear. To elevate the outfit a bit I decided to include a black of Birkenstocks.

Look 8: Sambas Outfit

Men's summer outfit with a white T-shirt, light green chino shorts, Adidas Samba sneakers, and black sunglasses.

This is a combination of a typical summer outfit that you can actually wear to your next vacation depending on the destination. The advantage of the outfit is that it lets you add almost any sneaker in case you need to walk a lot.

Look 9: 10,000 Beachwear

Men's outfit with a mint striped long-sleeve shirt, white drawstring shorts, and white Adidas Samba sneakers.

The reason for the name is that you only have to change the shoes for sandals and you have the beach outfit ready.

Look 10: Chic Summer Outfit

Men's vacation outfit with a light blue striped short-sleeve linen shirt, olive green pants, and green slide sandals.

I got the inspiration for this outfit on Pinterest and to be honest I think almost any guy can pull this one off. Both colors are neutral and muted enough to be easy to style.

Planning Ahead

My best piece of advice is that you plan and try each outfit before you go on vacation. It’s the easiest way to know if you truly need an item and how much clothing you’ll actually need to take with you. Also, if you plan ahead you can decided which outfit to use for which day. The day you travel to the destination versus the next day can require two totally different outfits if you are going from NYC to Roatan in the middle of January.
