16 Outfit Ideas For Men
This blog post is a compilation of my favorite outfits from the last two months, they don’t cover a particular style or season, but most of the outfits are with a single layer of clothing and more suitable for summer.
To start, I want to let you know that this is my 30th blog post and getting to these number of blog posts has been a lot of work, as you can see most of the pictures are taken outdoors, and most of them at sunrise. Over the last couple of week I’ve had good and bad moments, but I’m glad I’m bringing you guys real images with clothing I own, not AI generated stuff or collages with products.
I hope you like the outfits and get a couple of good ideas.

Look 1: Red Polo Shirt Outfit

This is what I consider my best photo so far, it was taken at 6:07 am, which was the perfect time to take this picture in the downtown area of my hometown on a Sunday.
It’s also one of my best outfits. A red Nautica polo shirt works well for high-contrast guys like me(dark hair, light skin). It was also one of my first times styling loafers and jeans.
There are some products I recommend and other’s that I bought and I don’t like, but this Nautica polo shirt is in my recommended list. It’s made of 100% cotton in a color that can add variety to your wardrobe, and it’s only $20.

Look 2: Business Casual White Polo Outfit

I promise just the first couple of outfits will have a mini-story, and this one is one of them. I was buying my birthday gift and decided to take a picture with this sunglasses at Sunglass Hut, now they are an essential part of my wardrobe.
Be prepared, you’ll see the white Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt in many more outfits today, I’ve found through trial and error that it’s my most versatile shirt and it can be styled in so many ways. It’s made of 100% cotton and perfect for looking extra stylish during sunny days.

Look 3: Military Style

Another story: I was having a bad day, I started taking pictures and after seeing that this outfit works my day was much better, end of the story.
Olive green is a neutral color that’s not used enough in menswear, it can help you add variety to your wardrobe, while in a subtle color that goes well with almost any other color.
This is also a 100% cotton polo shirt for $20.

Look 4: Church Outfit

There’s even a Tik Tok of me styling this outfit on a get ready with me.
This is my first textured polo, I bought it at H&M and it’s in a neutral color that I can style with all the pants in my wardrobe. The knit texture elevates the style of the outfit. I literally styled this outfit for Sunday Mass. It’s subtle and perfect for a sunny day.

Look 5: Simple Outfit

Fun fact: I took this picture outside a seafood restaurant at 6 am on a Sunday. The image doesn’t capture the smell.
This is what I call a simple outfit. Three classic items that have been around in menswear for decades styled together in a way that looks elevated, yet subtle. Sometimes less is more and this outfit is the perfect example of it.
Just be mindful that with simple one layer outfits like this one, the overall fit of each item can make or break the look.
I recently did a loafers and jeans outfit ideas blog post in case you want more inspiration for this particular combination.

Look 6: Casual Chic Outfit

I love the picture so much that I decided to upload even considering the fact that my shoelaces are untied.
There’s two things that can add variety to your wardrobe(aside from white leather sneakers), and that’s a light blue polo shirt and gray trousers. So far, I’ve been able to match the light blue polo shirt with all my pants. The one I’m wearing is from Boss and it’s made of 100% pima cotton.
When it comes to the gray trousers they are an essential item in menswear that many men don’t take seriously, and I was one of those men until this year. However; I made the mistake of buying a pair from H&M that had too much polyester. My recommendation is to buy a pair made of natural fibers such as cotton or wool, depending on the climate you live in.

Look 7: Spring Weekend Getaway

The outfit was styled for a family trip to a small town in my home country called Gracias, Lempira in Honduras. It’s a kind of colonial town, so I decided to go for a beige polo to match the town. It’s a beautiful place that I couldn’t recommend enough.
The overall outfit was built around the idea that it would be a cold day and since it’s a weekend getaway where I would be walking a lot I decided to use a pair of Old Navy jeans and white Cole Haan sneakers. The whole outfit was perfect for the occassion.

Look 8: Miami Design District Spy Agent

The mission: I needed to look stylish to get into the most expensive stores at the Miami Design District, while staying comfortable enough to walk 10,000 steps or more. The outfit looks stylish, but it didn’t work when it came to staying comfortable. The shirt is from Zara, but the fit was too uncomfortable and the buttons pull. The gray trousers are from H&M and have too much polyester, which makes them uncomfortable during hot days, like most ones in Miami.
Look 9: Museum Day Outfit

I built this outfit to stay comfortable on my last day at Gracias, Lempira. We visited an ancient Spanish fort in the middle of the town. As you can see it was a sunny day and the overall outfit was good enough for the day.
The navy polo is one of the few items I’ve found from H&M that’s made of 100% cotton, it’s affordable and I do recommend it if you are not wearing a navy polo every week. I have a feeling that the cotton it’s not of the best quality, especially when I’m ironing it.
The beige pants are also from H&M and just like the gray pants they are made mostly of synthetic materials, however this pair is more comfortable thanks to the color. I’ll still replace them for a pair made of 100% cotton soon, but it’s a good enough option if you are on a budget.

Look 10: Sporty Business Casual

I got the inspiration for this outfit from Magno Scavo.
He is my favorite men’s fashion creator and you probably already saw him on Tik Tok. The overall outfit works well for a hot day when you have to go the office.
The white polo shirt is breathable and reflects light, while the navy pants are made of almost 100% cotton, and are actually my most comfortable pair right now. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find them online, they are from a brand called Manhattan.

Look 11: Casual Spring Outfit

This is another photo from my weekend getaway. Underneath the baseball cardigan I’m wearing the white Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt. The cardigan is also made by Tommy Hilfiger(right now it’s sold out). It’s another comfortable outfit that was perfect for my trip, it allowed me to stay stylish while being ready to walk 15,000 steps.
The hero of the weekend were the jeans, I wore them on two separate days.

Look 12: Navy Polo Shirt Business Casual Outfit

You saw this polo on outfit 9 for my casual weekend outfit and now again, but now elevated for a business casual look, thanks to the black pants and black loafers.
This pants are another pair I don’t recommend you, they are made out of synthetic fibers.

Look 13: Fall Smart Casual Outfit

This outfit is great for a not so cold day during fall. I’m wearing a sweater polo from H&M, with a light baseball cardigan, a pair of H&M gray pants made out of too much polyester, and my beloved Cole Haan white sneakers.

Look 14 : Chic Smart Casual Outfit

If you go to outfit 3 you’ll notice that the only two things I changed are the hat and the shoes, but it feels like a changed the whole outfit. This goes to show how versatile olive green is and why you should incorporate it in your wardrobe.

Look 15: Summer Office Outfit

Fun fact: Everyone will look at the guy taking a picture with his phone and a tripod on an old payphone that hasn’t worked in years.
The pencil striped shirt is from Zara and it’s perfect for summer, a verstile shirt that can be styled with everything from pants, to denim and shorts.
Look 16: What I’m I doing?

I still don’t know why I went for this pose, but I have a felling it worked.
The only thing I changed from the last outfit are the pants, and it does give the look a different feeling.
