Beige Polo Shirt Outfit Ideas

Beige is a versatile often considered “neutral” color that can be styled with several items in your wardrobe. For this blog I included 5 ideas that worked for me, and I want to be clear on the fact that this combinations works for my particular skin tone and high-contrast. You’ll see five images, but I tried several other combinations that didn’t suit me and I decided not to include them.

One example of a combination that doesn’t work for a high-contrast guy like me is this polo shirt with beige pants, even if the pants are in another tone.

Another thing to keep in mind is fit. This polo fits my body like a glove and when you are styling polo shirts, which tend to be solid color items, fit is even more important. For context I’m 5’9 and weigh around 155 pounds in most of these photos.

The shirt is actually just $23 on Amazon, but again the fit is great and I styled it with a high contrast that favors me.

Outfit 1: Weekend Getaway

This is literally the outfit I wore to a weekend getaway with my family. It was a small town that was supposed to be cold, but I ended up barely using the cardigan. The combination of three neutral colors: Navy, brown, and white keeps the outfit fun without being too colorful.

Outfit 2: The actual outfit

Fun Fact: This picture was taken inside a pizza shop in Gracias, Lempira(Honduras). It’s called Kandil and I highly recommend it if you ever decide to visit.

This is how the outfit looks without the sweater, as you can see a cardigan is a good way of styling an outfit.

Outfit 3: Loafers and Jeans

Loafers and jeans is a combination I’m exploring lately, and with the right pair of denim you can also make it work. In my case I’m using a pair of Old Navy jeans and the fit is called “athletic fit”, it suits my body well.

One thing to keep in mind if you want to style like I did is to go for a pair of jeans that hug your body without being “skinny jeans”.

A pair of black or brown loafers is always a good investment. Mine are from Cole Haan and I love them.

Outfit 4: Airport Outfit

I built this outfit with a purpose: Be comfortable and stylish enough to get through TSA smoothly with a honduran passport, and it worked!

The combination of three breathable, comfortable, and stylish classic pieces is what makes this outfit great. The polo is in a solid neutral color, the pants are the most breathable pair in my closet, and the white sneakers are from Cole Haan, so I really don’t have to say much about them.

Outfit 5: Smart Casual Office Outfit

If there’s a color that can help the polo and white sneakers get through the door at your office(depending on the dress code) it’s gray. They tone down the polo shirt and make it look more office appropiate. This pair is from H&M and they are the “cropped” version. They look good with sneakers, but not with loafers.
