10 Beach Outfit Ideas For Men

Summer is in full swing, and if you’re heading to the beach, you might as well do it in style. Whether you’re planning a laid-back afternoon by the water or grabbing lunch at a beachside café, having the right outfit makes all the difference. In this post, I’m sharing 10 beach outfit ideas I styled myself. Each look is designed to be simple, practical, and stylish for warm weather.

You’ll find that most of the outfits are designed with classic pieces like a white or navy linen shirt that have been around for quite some time and will probably continue to be in style for decades. My goal with using classic pieces is that you can either use items you already own or that you buy items that you can wear with a broad range of styles.

Outfit 4 – Navy Shirt and Beige Shorts Combo

This is a basic and safe look, but one most guys can pull off, because navy is a dark neutral color that looks good on almost anybody. Just be careful with the shorts, having a darker top will take all the attention to your legs with a lighter bottom.

Outfit 5 – Striped Shirt and Street Style Accessories

This feels like a laid back combination to me. I’m sometimes including a tote bag, because I’m assuming you’re leaving the checked bag at the hotel. The shirt is one you can repurpose for other summer outfits with jeans.

Outfit 6 – White Linen Shirt + Navy Shorts

This is another safe look, but this time with a long-sleeve white linen shirt. I’m linking to one from Quince made from 100% European, that I’m certain you’ll be able to wear next year too. The whole outfit is versatile and you can repurpose the items(except the swim trunks).

Warning: I’ve been playing with green for some of this outfits. This one is definitely the riskiest one of the 10 outfits. I haven’t tried it myself yet, so please proceed with caution and make sure you take some pictures before taking this look on vacation.

Saving Money and Buying Quality Pieces

My main concern with styling this beach outfit is that you get pieces that you can only use during your vacation or at the beach. I want to help you build a versatile wardrobe with high quality pieces. With that said, it’s difficult to wear a linen shirt in another season, even Spring, and for all the 10 outfits I’m suggesting swim trunks. That’s why I tried to find the highest quality items in classic colors and patterns that you can use next year too!
